ART IS THE GREAT INTEGRATOR!
Each week we will create artwork with connections to other areas of study. Your child will receive a hands-on artistic approach to learning about the world we live in. Every week we will do different projects, you may register for as many weeks as fits in your schedule.
NO TWO WEEKS ARE THE SAME!
Children may register for any or all weeks

Course Selection
Courses are filled on a first come first serve basis. We will attempt to get your child in their first choice.
There are different activities each week, depending on the instructors and the weekly themes.
2-D
Two dimensional Art covers: Drawing, Painting, Design, Printmaking. Mediums may include pencils, paints, construction, and specialty papers, pastels, markers, crayons, linoleum, ink, and much more.
3-D
Three Dimensional Art includes Functional Pottery and Sculpture: Mediums include: ceramics, oil or self-drying clay, paper cache, plaster, found objects, cardboard, wood, wire, soap, and much more.
Crafts
Many types of crafts will be explored throughout the summer including Fiber Art (tie-dyeing, weaving, needlecrafts, basketry), mosaics, leather tooling, jewelry, puppetry
Mediums will include dyes, yarns, reed, tiles, grout, wire, beads, leather, fabric, wood, and styrofoam
Digital Arts
Will cover many topics including photography, cartooning, graphic design, animation, 3-D printing, and Virtual Reality. Mediums will include cameras, computers, different software programs, and printers.

9:00 AM to 12:00 PM / MON-FRI $125
Pre-Care: 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM $5/day
Post-Care: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM $5/day
HALF DAY AFTERNOON
:00 PM to 4:00 PM / MON-FRI $125
Pre-Care: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM $5/day
Post-Care: 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM $5/day
FULL DAY
9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday thru Friday $250
Pre-Care: 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM $5/day
Post-Care: 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM $5/day

May 15th deadline to receive a $15 discount

Register two or more siblings and receive a $10 discount off the total for each week.
Scholarships are offered to low-income families, single parents or families with hardships. You must fill out a 1 page scholarship form with your financial information to apply. Because of generous grants we can offer up to a 70% scholarship. If you receive a scholarship additional discounts cannot be applied.

Download, print and mail in or drop off at 31 W. Broad St., Hazleton.

Pick up registration and scholarship forms at 31 W. Broad Street Hazleton PA 18201. Forms will be in a mounted box on the Broad Street and main entrance doors. Drop them off at the same location.

Phone in 570-455-3333. Leave a detailed message with a return number. We have both English and Spanish-speaking staff that will return your call.

Select your first choice of activity by marking the line with a 1, fill in a 2 next to your second choice. Do this for both AM and PM if attending a full day.

COVID-19 INFORMATION / COVID-19 INFORMACION
Classes are kept small to accommodate 6 feet social distancing.
Each student will have an individual workspace and supplies.
Students will wear masks when in common areas and may remove their masks when in their distanced personal workspace. All adult teachers, interns, and staff must wear masks. All parents must wear masks when dropping off and picking up.
Each classroom will be covid cleaned every evening.
Las clases se mantienen pequeñas para acomodar el distanciamiento social de 6 pies. Cada estudiante tendrá un espacio de trabajo individual y suministros. Los estudiantes usarán máscaras cuando estén en áreas comunes y pueden quitarse las máscaras cuando estén en su espacio de trabajo personal distante. Todos los maestros adultos, pasantes y personal deben usar máscaras. Todos los padres deben usar máscaras al dejar y recoger. Cada aula se limpiará de forma todas las noches.
